Sharp recently unveiled two new large-scale speakers set to take your party to the next level.
# SumoBox: The Powerhouse
The first, SumoBox, promises to deliver up to 105 dB of pure sound, thanks to its 120 W RMS stereo speaker system, which includes 2 x 8-inch woofers and 2 x 2-inch tweeters. Developed in collaboration with French audio brand Devialet, the SumoBox utilises Devialet’s SAM technology, delivering a fuller, more detailed and powerful bass without noticeable distortion.
The SumoBox can be connected via three input channels (TRS/XLR combo (2x), bass and treble adjustment, and Aux/Bluetooth). Each channel has a separate level control, allowing for simultaneous jamming with different instruments. If you’re looking for even more sound, multiple SumoBoxes can be wirelessly connected in series. The speaker is powered by a detachable lithium-ion battery, providing up to ten hours of playtime. And if you’re planning a longer party, you can keep a spare battery on hand to ensure the party never stops.
## XParty Street Beat: The Party Starter
The second model, the XParty Street Beat, is a more streamlined speaker designed for those who just want a little disco on the beach or elsewhere. This portable and splash-proof speaker offers up to twelve hours of playtime – perfect for those long Swedish summer nights. And, being a dedicated party speaker, it comes with multi-coloured disco lights and a strobe that pulses to the beat of the music.
The SumoBox has a recommended retail price of 4,999 SEK, while the XParty Street Beat is priced at 3,699 SEK.
So, whether you’re planning a beach party or a full-blown disco night, it seems Sharp has got you covered.
*Time to end this party with a bang (or a witty remark, at least):* “Sharp’s new speakers promise to make your parties so loud, even your neighbours will want to join in. Just make sure they bring their own snacks!”
