BMW Unveils Its New Electric Motorcycle, BMW CE 02

BMW Group Sverige recently introduced its new electric motorcycle, the BMW CE 02. BMW claims this all-electric motorcycle boasts a modern and youthful design, aimed to attract younger buyers.

Power and Speed

The BMW CE 02 has a maximum power output of 11 kW (15 horsepower), propelling the motorcycle from 0 to 50 km/h in just three seconds. Its top speed is 95 km/h and the battery offers a range of up to 90 kilometers.

For those who prefer a less powerful ride, there’s also a ‘moped-like’ version of the BMW CE 02. This variant has an output of 4 kW (5 horsepower) and a top speed of 45 km/h.

Charging and Price

The standard package includes a charger with a charging capacity of 0.9 kW, suitable for regular household sockets. An optional high-power charger of 1.5 kW is also available, allowing the 11 kW version to be fully charged in approximately 3.5 hours.

The price for the BMW CE 02 starts at 79,900 kronor for the 4 kW version and 91,500 kronor for the 11 kW version. The plan is for both these versions to be released in the first half of 2024, but pre-orders are already available for those who can’t wait.
