Marques Gives a Thumbs Up to Zenfone 10

Marques was a big fan of the Zenfone 9, which he hailed as the best compact phone of last year. Now, Zenfone 10 has arrived on the scene and according to Marques, it’s almost perfect. The Zenfone 9 lacked wireless charging, a problem now resolved in the Zenfone 10. The battery life is still impressive, lasting a full day, which can be an issue with smaller phones.

Material Matters

The back of the Zenfone 9 was made of a pleasant material, but it quickly lost its charm. Asus has now switched materials for the Zenfone 10 and it seems to be an improvement. Only time will tell, of course. The phone is available in five attractive colors.

Camera Quality

Not much has changed with the cameras. They received good reviews last year but weren’t the absolute best. However, Asus has now incorporated better image stabilization, comparable to gimbal-quality, which is impressive.

Software Score

The software also scores high marks. It’s almost a pure Android version. Asus has added some features, but users can choose whether to use these or stick with the basic Android, which is a great option. Another cool feature is the ability to swipe the power button to access settings. Neat!

The only criticism is that Asus only guarantees software updates for two years.

The Zenfone 10 is set to cost 9499 kronor in Sweden but doesn’t seem to be available with any retailers yet.

Final Thoughts

So, if you’re in the market for a near-perfect phone, the Zenfone 10 might just be your "Zen" mate. But remember, you might have to make peace with the two-year software update guarantee.
